Luuk de Jong has seemingly hit out at the Newcastle United management, tweeting this during this afternoon’s shambolic performance at Selhurst Park.

It is thought that Luuk is unhappy at the amount of playing time older brother Siem is getting. Siem regularly fills the Newcastle bench, which especially this weekend was puzzling. De Jong scored 57 times in 168 games for Ajax, yet has found himself limited to 11 appearances on Tyneside after reoccurring injuries and McClaren’s reluctance to utilise him.
Steve McClaren is coming under increasing pressure after a 3-0 defeat to Leicester at St. James’ Park, followed by an even worse display away to Crystal Palace.
Luuk arrived at Newcastle on a six-month loan with the option to buy in January 2014 from Borussia Monchengladbach. He made 12 appearances for the Magpies, however never scored.
Since then he has gone on to play a pivotal role in PSV’s domestic and continental campaigns, scoring 31 goals in 44 appearances.
