Newcastle United vs Norwich City: the history

Newcastle United, who are still searching for their first win of the season, welcome Norwich City to St James’ Park this weekend, after a dull two-week long international break.

While the Canaries were only promoted back into the Premier League last season, they will be familiar with the Magpies, having met seven times since 2012.

Newcastle’s record against Norwich is not as good as you may expect, with just 14 wins (10 home, 4 away) and nine draws in 32 games – scoring 52 goals and conceding 38 in the process.

But, what actually happened in the most recent trips to St James’ Park for the Canaries? It’s time to take a trip down memory lane:

matchday.
