# Magpies set to make huge profit on Sissoko

Italian giants AC Milan are keen to bring Moussa Sissoko to the San Siro in the January transfer window, [according to reports](https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-transfers-magpies-willing-10220707).

The seven-time European Cup winners have spent a couple of years out of the limelight, with Juventus dominating the Serie A, but they are seemingly willing to splash the cash in order to return to the big stage.

The French midfielder, who’s currently away on international duty, has had an underwhelming start to the Premier League season, but that hasn’t put off the *Rossoneri.*

According to Calciomercato, Milan are lining up a bid in the region of £13million for Sissoko, which Newcastle are likely to accept.

It’s also claimed that the Frenchman would be keen on the move, as the draw of the continent would be too much to turn down, in his apparent quest for Champions League football.

So far in his career on Tyneside, the 26-year-old has racked up 83 appearances, scoring on 10 occasions. His form in black and white has not blown anyone away, but if Newcastle were to complete a deal with Milan, they would make a cool profit of around £11million on the fee they originally paid to lure him away from Toulouse.
