Tonight, Steve McClaren and his Newcastle team travelled to Upton Park for probably the last time. The line-up was pretty standard, with Papiss Cisse coming in for the suspended Aleksandar Mitrovic. Two Dimitri Payet goals were enough to sink the Magpies and the game finished 2-0 to Bilic’s men, who looked extremely comfortable throughout. There is a lot of work ahead for McClaren and his coaching staff if Newcastle are serious about wanting to achieve a top eight finish, with the club yet to register a single win.
