Futhead and Futwiz have begun releasing the FIFA 16 ratings on their website and a large selection of Newcastle United have been revealed.
Our highest rated player is summer signing Gini Wijnaldum at 80, while our lowest (so far) is Rolando Aarons at 71.
Instead of looking at Newcastle’s highest rated players as the list has not changed much since last year’s edition, I am going to look at the biggest upgrades the Magpies’ players have received this season – with one star being handed an upgrade nine ratings higher.
5. Moussa Sissoko +3

Though Newcastle fans questioned his passion at times, Moussa Sissoko was definitely one of our star players last season and even bagged the opener on the final day of the season to help secure our Premier League safety.
EA have decided to move Sissoko back into the centre of midfield, despite starting every game under McClaren on the right, and have handed him an upgrade of three – which is well deserved in my opinion.
4. Jack Colback +5

Having made the controversial switch from Wearside to Tyneside last summer, there was a lot of pressure on Colback’s shoulder to hit the ground running and win over the sceptical Geordie faithful – and he did so with ease. The 25-year-old was arguably our most consistent player last season and, even though he doesn’t grab the headlines with the role he plays, he received plaudits from many – including England manager Roy Hodgson, who nicknamed him ‘Ginger Pirlo’.
A well deserved upgrade of five.
3. Chancel Mbemba +5

Chancel impressed last season, albeit in Belgium, and he attracted attention from scouts across Europe – including Atletico Madrid, Newcastle and Borussia Monchengladbach.
Since making his summer switch to St James’ Park, the Chancellor has become an immediate fan favourite and has brought solidity to Newcastle’s back line. His pace and composure on the ball was something the Magpies lacked last season, and his huge jumping reach & strength help when coping with aerial threats.
2. Ayoze Perez +6

Ayoze Perez had a breakout year for Newcastle last season – netting seven times in his debut Premier League season. The 21-year-old is tipped for greatness and just displays world class qualities when on the ball. Ayoze won Newcastle’s Goal of the Season award for his audacious flick against West Brom – a goal typical of the young Spaniard’s play.
1. Rolando Aarons +9

Rolando Aarons burst onto the scene last pre-season and was a breath of fresh air – a Newcastle academy product with pace, flair and the confidence to drive at the opposition’s defence. Sadly, he only made a handful of appearances as his season was plagued with injury – but he looked sharp this season when McClaren has called upon him. Hopefully, the 19-year-old can cement his spot in the first-team this season and kick on from there.
