News just broke that Olympique Lyonnais have secured the signing of French U19 captain and former Newcastle player Olivier Kemen for an undisclosed fee.
Kemen didn’t register a single first-team appearance during his time on Tyneside, but many fans rated him very highly. A box-to-box central midfield player, he was reportedly frustrated at the lack of first-team football at Newcastle. Kemen was linked to the likes of AC Milan, Liverpool, Tottenham and Monaco – but he has chosen to sign for Lyon.
