A few days ago we brought you a video of Jack Colback and Remy Cabella going head-to-head in a free-kick challenge for 138.com. The result was pretty poor and didn’t give fans much faith in either player taking the responsibility of free-kick taker next season.
So, we have another instalment. Tis time it is Massadio Haidara and Mehdi Abeid who are matched up. Probably not exactly the first names you would pick if you had to select a dead ball specialist in our squad, but a difficult matchup to predict nonetheless.
Having watched the duo go to head-to-head, I doubt Steve McClaren will be offering them the responsibility of free-kick taker anytime soon. In fact, I am pretty sure any alcohol infused Geordie from the Gallowgate end on a match-day could probably strike a ball better than these two.
