When you consider the most skilful player in the Newcastle squad, many would probably rank Remy Cabella highly on their list.
On countless occasions last season, Cabella would drive at players and use fancy flicks and tricks to beat his man. Even though his end product wasn’t always great, he was always an exciting player to watch – especially when linking up with Ayoze Perez and Daryl Janmaat.
However, when put to the test in a football freestyling competition on the training ground, the Frenchman met his match in the shape of 22-year-old left-back Massadio Haidara.
Mehdi Abeid also took part, but he failed to provide much competition to Cabella and Haidara. Steven Taylor, as the commentator, boldly stating his Grandma could trap a ball better than Abeid would probably sum up his performance.
