Newcastle United are being linked with a move for FC Porto winger Yacine Brahimi.
According to claims from Brahimi’s native Algeria, as cited by Portuguese news outlet A Bola, the tricky wide man has emerged as a top target for Newcastle ahead of the summer transfer window.
Brahimi has been a standout performer for Porto over the course of the last two seasons and he has been continuously linked with a move to the Premier League. Everton were most recently touted as a potential destination for the player.

It’s claimed in the report from A Bola that Brahimi is likely to be hot property in the summer, but a move to the English top flight is the player’s preference as his contract with Porto continues to run close to its expiration in 2019.
The 28-year-old Algerian international has netted eight goals in the Liga NOS this season from 30 appearances and has also contributed with seven assists.
