Benitez defends Allardyce’s comments on Everton survey debacle
Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez has weighed in on Everton’s decision to request their fans to mark manager Sam Allardyce’s performances since he joined the club last December.
While Benitez has the backing of his club’s fans, Allardyce is struggling to get his on side, and the Magpies gaffer has expressed that he is appalled by Everton’s decision to further undermine their own employee.
Talking about what many people online are referring to as SurveyGate, Benitez had this to say;

I am defending what he said about this.
Meanwhile, the Tyneside manager has admitted he could make changes ahead of the clash with Everton on Monday, despite having won four games on the spin with an unchanged side. He continued;
It is not easy for me because we are winning. If I change now, people will say. ‘Oh, Rafa is changing a winning team’.
“Yes, but I want to make sure we are doing the right things for the future.
