Newcastle defenders Jesús Gámez and Massadio Haïdara are set to leave for nothing this summer, according to the Northern Echo.
The Magpies are yet to open discussions over a new contract with either of the two defenders, paving the way for both of them to leave at the end of their current deals, both of which expire in the summer.
Gámez has only played in three games for the club this season, while Haïdara has made the one a sole appearance in the FA Cup.
Injuries have affected both their seasons, but Rafa Benitez has largely simply overlooked the duo, and is prepared to let both leave.

Gámez, the 32-year old full-back, was one of Benitez’ earliest signings during his first summer window in charge of the club, where he was recruiting to help earn the club instant promotion back to the Premier League.
While Haïdara, 25, has barely featured under Benitez. Having initially signed from Nancy in 2013 as a hot prospect, the Frenchman’s career has been derailed by a series of issues, namely a horror tackle on Callum McManaman early in his Newcastle career, and a number of lengthy injury lay-offs.
His only league appearance in the last two years was on the final day of the campaign last year, against Barnsley.
