Newcastle are considering a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet this summer.
According to The Daily Star, Newcastle are one of a number of teams that are interested in Mignolet.
Southampton, Stoke, Celtic and Burnley are all also in the hunt for Mignolet if he becomes available.
Mignolet has been pushed to the side by Liverpool recently, with Loris Karius taking over the number one jersey at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp may look to cash in on Mignolet this summer and Newcastle will be looking to snap him up if they can retain their Premier League status.
The 29-year-old has been a regular at Liverpool over the last few years, but could now look for a move away.
Rafa Benitez could use his Liverpool connection to edge ahead in the race to sign the shot-stopper, although Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers could play the same card.
Newcastle must first worry about staying in the Premier League between now and the end of the season.
