It’s been reported by HITC that Bundesliga side Hamburg had agreed on a deal with Newcastle for Aleksandar Mitrovic on deadline day only for the player to then make a move to West London to Championship club Fulham.
The striker signed for Fulham on the final day of the transfer window as the player completed his medical in Belgium in order to complete the move.
Mitrovic was set to join Hamburg on the final day of the window but the board blocked the move right at the last minute.

The two had agreed on a fee but there was a problem with the manager at the time Bernd Hollerbach who made a proposal on the deal which led to it falling through at the last minute.
Mitrovic has made a flying start to life at Fulham scoring 7 times in 8 matches which will clearly come as a frustration to those at the Bundesliga club.
