Newcastle interested in Sandro Ramirez
Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Sandro Ramirez from Everton.
The Magpies want to land attacking reinforcements in the final section of the transfer window and if the Daily Mail are to be believed, they want to rescue Sandro from his ongoing nightmare at Goodison Park.
Having signed for the Toffees in the summer for a fee of around £5m, Sandro has flattered to deceive in an Everton shirt. He has not recreated the form he displayed at Malaga and this has seen Sam Allardyce move for other attackers, with Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott already recruited by the Merseyside outfit.
It’s claimed that Rafa Benitez is willing to part with £2m in order to loan Sandro in for the remainder of the season. The report from the Daily Mail also states that Newcastle are prepared to pay the full extent of his £100,000 per week wages, which seems somewhat unlikely given the club’s financial restrictions.
The 22-year-old is also wanted by Sevilla.
