Newcastle linked with a move for Wolves star Conor Coady
Newcastle United are being linked with an £8m move for Wolves star Conor Coady this month.
According to Metro, as cited by the Birmingham Mail, the Magpies are taking an interest in the former Liverpool man, who has been exceptional for Wolves this season.
Coady has been an important part of Nuno Santo’s side in the opening chunk of the campaign so far and has been earning rave reviews. It seems his performances haven’t gone unnoticed, also, with the likes of Newcastle now touted with a move for the versatile 24-year-old.
Naturally a central midfielder, Coady has been in inspired form for Wolves as part of a back three throughout the campaign and has further enhanced his reputation with some excellent displays in the defensive trio.
Wolves will undoubtedly be keen to keep hold of Coady for the remainder of the season, but he’d certainly add a different option to Rafa Benitez’s ranks at St James’ Park.
