Newcastle are said to be scouting Trabzonspor midfielder Yusuf Yazici.
According to a report from Turkish news outlet TurksVoetbal, the Magpies are among a host of clubs tracking the promising midfielder.
Newcastle appear to be closely monitoring the Super Lig this season. Over the course of the opening few months, reports have suggested that the Magpies have been watching over players such as Cenk Tosun and Badou N’Diaye, with Yazici the latest man said to be under consideration.
The 20-year-old is developing an extremely positive reputation and is enjoying a good season with Trabzonspor.
Yazici, who is a full international for the Turkish national team, is highly coveted in his homeland and is regarded as an extremely important player by his current club. He is contracted to Trabzonspor until the summer of 2022.
Newcastle are not the only side keen to land Yazici, either. Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have both reportedly scouted the youngster.
