Newcastle United are keeping tabs on Dundee defender Jack Hendry, according to a recent report from the Daily Mail.

The youngster has been in impressive form out in Scotland and has caught the eye of many Premier League clubs, with his signature now being chased by Newcastle among others.

Hendry played for Wigan Athletic until last summer and has since gone from strength to strength with Dundee. He has cemented his place in the club’s starting line-up and has been turning in some incredibly mature displays at the back.

Newcastle are keen to land new players in the January transfer window and Hendry, despite his lack of top flight experience, is certainly a promising player.
