Besiktas club official Metin Albayrak has confirmed that ten different clubs are in talks over a move for Cenk Tosun.
Newcastle have recently been credited with an interest in the forward and could be one of the ten clubs in discussions.
Tosun has become a player of interest to many sides after his impressive performances for Besiktas last season.
Speaking to Turkish Football, Albayrak said this:
He just keeps getting better, the more he scores the more confident he gets and he just keeps on working and trying to improve.
Right now 10 clubs are in direct talks with us.
The forward scored 24 goals in all competitions last season, including 20 in the Turkish league and has scored three goals so far this season.
Newcastle have turned their attentions to him as they eye up potential January signings.
Rafa Benitez made it clear he was unhappy with transfer dealings in the summer and will be hoping to rectify that in the winter window.
Joselu scored against Liverpool before the international break and is currently the club’s first-choice striker.
