Newcastle eye Snodgrass move
Newcastle are eyeing up a move for West Ham winger Robert Snodgrass, according to the Daily Record.
The report claims that Newcastle are among a host of clubs keen on signing the winger.
Aston Villa, Leeds and Brighton are also interested in Snodgrass and could make a move before the window closes.
West Ham want to sell him permanently but would be willing to send him out on loan, possibly with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Snodgrass has been told he can leave West Ham, with manager Slaven Bilic wanting to move him on.
The Scotsman is not in Bilic’s plans and is now looking for his next club, with Newcastle possibly his next destination.
Snodgrass joined West Ham from Hull in January of this year, following an impressive start to the Premier League with the – now -Championship club.
The winger previously had spells with Leeds and Norwich in England.
