Newcastle look set to face a transfer battle for Lucas Perez this summer, with Sevilla and Fenerbahce in the race for his signature.
The Spaniard has been starved of first-team opportunities since his move from Deportivo La Coruna last summer, and this has led to him being made available by Arsenal for transfer this month.
Arsene Wenger is keen to trim his squad and sell any deadwood that remains and given how far down in the pecking order Perez is at the club, he is included in this.
Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle discussed his client’s future with Spanish newspaper AS, as quoted by Sky Sports:
Two clubs in Spain have already contacted Perez for a transfer, Sevilla also want to sign him, and a German team and Fenerbahce are negotiating to sign the player.
The Gunners are poised to demand a fee of around £13.5m, which is likely to be an affordable price for Newcastle.
