Norwich City winger Jacob Murphy has informed his agent of his desire to move to Newcastle this summer, according to Lee Ryder of the Chronicle.
Ryder says that more talks between the player and both clubs are due to take place in an attempt to resolve the player’s future as he looks to engineer a move to the north east.
Murphy impressed for the England U21s side over the summer, increasing interest in the wide man.
The Norwich winger has already turned down a move to Crystal Palace this summer in the hope of holding out for a move to St James’ Park.
Newcastle have already failed with an initial bid for the player and are expected to return with a second an improved bid.
