Newcastle are sure to have a busy summer on their hands when the window opens at the start of July, with Rafa Benitez definitely needing to bolster his current crop of players.
There are a few positions that could do with some strengthening ahead of the Magpies’ highly anticipated return to the Premier League, and it looks as though Benitez considers the goalkeeping position to be somewhere that could do with some work.
According to reports from Italy, Newcastle have their sights set on Udinese shot stopper Orestis Karnezis ahead of the summer window.

The experienced goalkeeper has been a mainstay at the Serie A side for some time now and given his age, could be looking towards a move to the Premier League for the first time in his career so far.
Benitez currently has Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot at his disposal but could look towards Karnezis to bolster his options between the posts.
