Rolando Aarons Arrested Following Night Club Brawl
According to a recent report by the BBC, Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons has been arrested following a brawl at a popular nightclub in Newcastle during the early hours of Sunday morning.
In total, nine people were arrested, with Aarons and seven others being arrested on suspicion of violent conduct. Another person was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
All those who were arrested have now been bailed pending further inquiries.
According to the Irish Independent, the incident is believed to have started when Aarons confronted a group of men who were dancing and grinding around his Aunt.
Aarons’ anger intensified when one member of the group reportedly took out his mobile and started to film it.
The altercation supposedly involved chairs and champagne bottles being thrown about and the inside of the club was left covered in blood; one person had to attend hospital due to facial injuries.
The Telegraph have reported that the club was closed following the incident and that the club’s staff, including the bouncers, were interviewed until around 6am.
Newcastle United Football Club have refused to comment on the incident and Northumbria police are urging any witnesses with any information to come forward.
