Newcastle United will start February with a trip to face Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday. The Magpies are rolling off the back of a bad result against Watford, losing 2-1 at Vicarage Road and will look to move out of the relegation zone with a win.

The return of the left back will likely see the Magpies revert to their usual 4-2-3-1 formation, which seems to suit the side better than the 3-5-2 we saw at Watford.
New signing Andros Townsend should be in the squad to face the Toffees but we doubt he’ll start the game. Jack Colback may also be nearing a return to the first XI.
Questions still hang over the fitness of Vurnon Anita and Jack Colback. Anita has stepped up his return to training, but hasn’t yet been involved in a full session.
